Intercession Ministry
"If my people, who are called by my Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." II Chronicles 7:14
We stand on the FACT that this scripture is true and that the Lord hears the prayers of His saints. We also stand on the truth that whatever we ask for in His Name will be given to us by the Father of Lights.
Intercession is a call of intimacy, humility, and identification with the heart of our Creator. Intercession is a place where we remove our own agendas and cry out for the Holy Spirit to invade every area of our lives, church, city, state and nation. Intercession is recognition that His ways are greater than our own. Intercession is a groaning persistent love that longs for the revelation of his heart, character and will in order that we might see the authority and power of Christ in and through the Christian church. Intercession gazes upon the beauty of the Lord and changes the circumstances of the world.
We believe that revival, evangelism, and affective ministry are fruits of forerunning prayers.
We incorporate the truth and teachings of the Word of God, the wisdom of intercessors who have gone before us, and musical worship in to our times of prayer. We allow God to overwhelm us with a desire to draw closer to the person of Jesus. The more we pray the more a passionate heart and hope for our leaders, friends, families, and the unsaved increases.
We take on the burdens and sins of individuals, people groups, and nations and repent on their behalf to see His glory revealed. We wage war against the enemy of every person's soul.
Intercession fills our hearts with hope, thanksgiving, worship, praise, conviction, holy anger and most importantly love for all lives, circumstances and the world. Intercession ministry is not a place to be recognized, but a place where the deep love, sorrow, hope and joy of the Lord is revealed.
